St. Joseph Health System of Sonoma County purchases CareNetTV.com, Inc. Public Information Display with ED STAT GUIDE 2.0
SJHS is an integrated healthcare delivery system providing a broad range of medical services. The system is organized into three regions - Northern California, Southern California, and West Texas/Eastern New Mexico - and consists of 14 acute-care hospitals, as well as home health agencies, hospice care, outpatient services, skilled nursing facilities, community clinics, and physician organizations.
Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, part of theSJHS, opened in 1950 and is a full-service acute inpatient and ambulatory care hospital and a medical referral center for the north coastal region of California.
In December 2007, the regional SJHS media department approved and commissioned CareNetTV.com to producea branded custom version of ED STAT GUIDE for Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA.
ED STAT GUIDE informs and educates patients about Emergency Department procedures and policies, and helps them learn about their role and responsibilities in the ED environment. It also includes helpful tips, public service announcements, patient service forms, and more.
SJHS Media Department chose our stand-alone digital signage system that includes a large rugged industrial 32" LCD and player. The Public Information Display system has ED STAT GUIDE pre-installed and is a plug-and-play turn-key product. It is scheduled for installation at the beginning of 2008, in the Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital emergency department waiting room. Robert Sampson, R.N.and CEO of CareNetTV.com, Inc. stated "ED STAT GUIDE, created with Adobe Flash, is presented on our pre-specified hardware technology for Public Information Displays which is manufactured by NEC and TTUFF Technologies."
